Scarborough Tattoo Show with The Tattooed Wedding Collective

My annual visit to the Scarborough Tattoo show as part of the Tattooed Wedding Collective, which is comprised of Legend Bridal dress makers, Marry Me Ink wedding Blog, Kokino Hair design and Myself, was extra special this year! The show is so much more than tattooists creating magnificent body art, there were rock bands playing in the Spa Pavilion in the glorious sunshine and all sorts of alternative stalls giving a real carnival atmosphere.  We had a fabulous wedding area amongst all the international super talented tattoo artists. Many of our merry tribe had tattoos over the weekend including my lady wife.  I took time over the weekend to take our amazing models, replete in Legend Bridal’s exquisite bespoke couture, crowned with Kokino’s lavish avant garde barnetry onto on the Scarborough front, creating quite a stir with the holiday makers, including into the freezing north sea!! Here are a few of my favourite images, there will be more posts from the other members of tribe so keep your eyes peeled.

Holdsworth House wedding

This really is a unique wedding for me. The bride is my Auntie Judith marrying Patrick with the vicar leading the ceremony my mother! This family wedding was blessed with scorching summer weather ensuring a wonderful happy atmosphere for the entire day.  I have to say covering a wedding in my usual documentary style was at times challenging when surrounded by my family watching every move that I made but the happiness radiating from Auntie Judith and Patrick soon dragged the attention where should be.

The West Mill Wedding

My First wedding of the year at The West Mill Derby’s premier wedding venue was a a fabulous sunny spring day where Sophie and Callum had a wonderful intimate family celebration.  The wedding was full of fun with children running free around this brilliant venue allowing everyone to have the perfect day. Sophie and Callum were my perfect type of client wanting relaxed documentary coverage of their day with some beautiful portraits.

Wedding Festival On The Hill

When East Bridgford Hill, one of Nottingham premier weddings venues, got in touch to to ask would I like to take part in their wedding festival on the hill. An innovative wedding event where instead of exhibiting as a supplier they were staging a wedding based around environmentally sustainable vegan/vegetarian ethos, With suppliers actually doing what they do at real weddings and the guests being members of the public who are planning their own weddings, I didn’t need asking twice! Here are a few of my favourite photos from a very wintery but beautiful day. A special mention to Zac and Beth for being a wonderful faux Bride and Groom on the day.
